My sister, Belinda Friddle of Browns Summit, NC,  (Belinda on the right, Beverly on the left in the photo)  has  joined me in B& B Crafts – We’re A Pear -  we will continue to offer uniquely beautiful, quality handmade gifts for babies and the home.

Our  handmade items, created in Maggie Valley, NC, in the Great Smokey Mountains of Western North Carolina are now being offered at the       N. C. Mountain Made Store,  located at the intersection of Highways 28 and 64 in Franklin, North Carolina, as well as a small selection of handmade Christmas ornaments at Country Vittles Restaurant on Soco Road in Maggie Valley, NC.   Many of you have made our handmade items favorites of yours to use and share as gifts.  We have enjoyed providing special gifts for you in the past and look forward to creating beautiful items for you in the future.  If you have an idea for a gift and can’t locate it on our web page, we’ll be happy to discuss your needs and if we can’t provide the gifts you need, we’ll assist you in locating someone who can provide the them.

We are honored and proud to have been selected for the last two years to provide fleece blankets with hand-stitched blanket stitch edging and the embroidered Unit Crest for personnel at Fort Hood, Texas and we are currently  preparing our third order for shipment to them.    These special blankets are being given to the newborn babies of our servicemen and women that are stationed at Fort Hood , the majority of them serving in Iraq. 

We are very excited about our new items which are already in the N. C. Mountain Made Store, and our web page will be undergoing some “re-construction” soon to also showcase these.   Please check back soon and often to view new items.
